Welcome to NorthPoint Paddles!
- Putting the Beauty of Wood in the Hands of Kayakers -

NorthPoint Paddles is a family-run business in the Pacific Northwest with a passion for kayakers everywhere to experience the special benefits of paddling with a Greenland-style paddle. The blade design allows for less stress on your shoulders & elbows without sacrificing speed. Everyone, beginners & experts alike, appreciates being able to paddle longer with less fatigue. We believe whether you are paddling out on a lake, going down an easy flowing river or creek, heading out on a sea kayaking adventure or trying out your kayak roll, you will appreciate paddling with a Greenland paddle. Kayaking in the Winter??? But, of Course!!!

We know for some of us that summer is almost here, but for others winter is just about to start. As these pictures show, a couple of our customers will go kayaking any time of the year – even in the heart of winter!

John paddling in Lake Michigan with a Greenland kayak paddle (Rosario model) from NorthPoint Paddles

Shown above - John paddling on Lake Michigan using our Rosario model as part of his personal challenge to paddle at least once every month, year round – which he managed to do for almost 10 years. Way to go, John! His “100th month of Paddling” commemorative paddle is our Kinloch model (pictured on the right). John purchased his Rosario from us the very first year we participated at Canoecopia (2012) in Madison, WI. He has since become a dear friend and has a special place in our hearts.

Shown below - During a snowstorm in the Pacific Northwest – in Utsalady Bay - Myles had fun with his very own Kid’s Greenland Paddle by NorthPoint Paddles. The smile on his face says it all!
